Hunter Mill District 2024 Winter Coat Closet

Winter coats at the Hunter Mill District Coat Closet

No one Should Go Without a Winter Coat

You can help our neighbors in need by giving the gift of warmth. Donate a winter coat today. This coat drive is sponsored by my office and the nonprofit Cornerstones.

What to Donate:

  • New or gently used heavy winter coats
  • New (only) hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves

Coats and jackets with hoods in larger adult sizes (XL, XXL, XXXL) and all children's (newborn to teen) sizes are especially needed. Plastic coat hangers are also sought. (No wire hangers, please)

Due to space limitations, please don't donate other winter clothes like sweaters, snowsuits and boots.

Donations will be accepted:

  • TuesdayOct. 15 - Friday, Nov. 8.

Donation Drop-Off Location
