Round One of the Older Adults Roundtable series was held on Thursday, July 28th from 7PM to 8:30PM. This open discussion focused on aging in Fairfax County; discussing the importance of caregiving, touching on the challenges faced, and resources available.
On Tuesday, November 15th, from 7-8:30pm, I hosted Round Two of the Older Adults Roundtable. This open discussion focused on the transportation services and various resources Fairfax County offers older adults.
On Monday, February 27th from 7-8:30 PM, I will be hosting the Third Round of my Older Adults Roundtable series. This discussion will be focused on affordability and aging in Fairfax County. We will discuss the various affordable housing options and the accessibility of those options, tax relief benefits, challenges that are faced by older adults as they age in place, and resources that can be used when tackling those challenges.
