The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT), Providence Supervisor Dalia Palchik and Dranesville Supervisor Jimmy Bierman will hold a public information meeting on May 29, 2025 to discuss two bicycle/pedestrian improvement projects approaching Route 7 in Falls Church:
- The Shreve Road Shared Use Path, which will connect the W&OD Trail to Route 7; and
- Haycock Road and Route 7 Intersection Improvements, which will include a shared use path extension connecting Route 7 to Mustang Alley, with direct access to Meridian High School and Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School.
The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Shrevewood Elementary School, 7525 Shreve Road, Falls Church, starting a 6 p.m., with an Open House and exhibit boards. FCDOT will present the Conceptual Design for the two projects at 7 p.m., leaving time at the end for questions and to take feedback.
