The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) is planning pedestrian connectivity and safety improvements along the Pohick Road corridor between Route 1 and the I-95 Bridge. The proposed project will include the addition of new asphalt and concrete walkway segments, the relocation of a signalized pedestrian crossing and the installation of curb and gutter throughout the corridor.

FCDOT will host an online community information meeting on Tuesday, May 26, at 7 p.m., to provide an overview of the project purpose and need, proposed improvements, anticipated schedule and next steps.
