Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) held a final meeting to share proposed concepts with the public and gather feedback toward selecting a preferred alternative on Thursday, June 16, 2016, 6:30 p.m., in the cafeteria of Oakton High School, 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna. The meeting featured the following presentation:

FCDOT's initial meeting for the study was held on March 2, 2016, to gather feedback on existing conditions, areas of concern, ideas for improvements and overall goals for bicycling in this area. The following information was presented during the meeting:

Project Background

The Vienna Metrorail Bicycle Access Study reviewed ways to improve bicycle access to the Vienna Metrorail Station. On the map below, the study encompasses Nutley Street (blue), Sutton Road (green), and Virginia Center Boulevard/County Creek Road (red).
