Announcing the Eighteenth Summer of Braddock Nights
Madame Chairman:
We are coming up on another season of music in the parks with the start of Braddock Nights. This series of FREE musical performances, held throughout the summer, presents a wide array of artists, from classical to bluegrass and everything in between. The atmosphere is informal and with free entertainment for the whole family, this is a great year for folks to make their first trip or their eighteenth.
I encourage our residents to bring friends, food, children and maybe a lawn chair or two and be ready for a fun and relaxing evening at the end of a long work-week. Starting June 15th and running through August 31th, the concerts take place every Friday evening at Royal Lake and Lake Accotink Park, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Braddock Nights is an outstanding tradition that allows our community to come together and celebrate with each other an evening of entertainment and fellowship. It is a fantastic series of events that truly help strengthen our neighborhood spirit.
This summer Braddock Nights are the place to be and I hope that our residents will be able to join us!
Madame Chairman, I would ask, without objection, that the Office of Public Affairs publicize these events.
