Celebrating Kings Park Elementary School’s 50 years of serving the Community
Madame Chairman:
It brings me great pleasure to recognize one of the Braddock District’s greatest treasures, Kings Park Elementary School. For 50 years now, Kings Park Elementary School has been serving the community, preparing youth for future success in life, and acting as a model for excellence in the Fairfax County Public School system.
- to both a highly qualified staff of educators and a dedicated parent community, Kings Park Elementary School has long been a school where children are given only the best educational opportunities. The School motto, “Together We Grow” demonstrates Kings Park Elementary School’s commitment to lifelong learning and its dedication to working collaboratively with parents.
On June 12th, the Kings Park Elementary School community will gather for a 50th Anniversary Celebration to reflect on past successes and step forward toward another 50 years of greatness. Festivities include a field day celebration for the students and an afternoon event from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for students, parents, community members, and former Kings Park Elementary School staff.
Madame Chairman, without objection I ask that the Board of Supervisors offer its congratulations to Kings Park Elementary School and authorize a certificate to be presented at the school’s 50th Anniversary celebration on June 12, 2015.
