Recognizing the Woodson Women’s Lightweight 8 Crew Team

Madam Chairman,

We would like to congratulate the Woodson Women’s Lightweight 8 Crew Team for winning the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association 2018 Lightweight Championship, the VASRA Gold Medal and the Winslow Pitcher Trophy.

The Women’s Lightweight 8 team won the VSRCs finals over TC Williams, Lake Braddock, and Granby on May 12th on the Occoquan River.

Therefore Madam Chairman, we ask without objection that the Woodson Women’s Lightweight 8 Crew Team be brought before the Board on June 19 to be acknowledged for their tremendous achievements.
