Carryover is the re-appropriation in the current fiscal year (FY 2027) of previously approved items in the previous fiscal year (FY 2026) such as outstanding encumbered obligations, unencumbered commitments and unexpended capital project and grant balances. The Board of Supervisors will take action on the FY 2026 Carryover package on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
