Fairfax County just unveiled the first-in-the-region All-Electric Trash Truck in a ceremony attended by elected officials and members of the public works and energy sectors. Part of a pilot program, the EV Trash Truck promises quieter, cleaner, more efficient refuse pickup, while inspiring private haulers to follow the county's example.
