Applicants need to provide their personal information including education, military background (if any), previous firefighter experience, residential history, driver’s history, arrest history, drug use history, and any official/unofficial supplemental documents. The Personal History Statement (PHS) must be fully completed and signed.
The completed Personal History Statement (PHS) and all required documents must be submitted online, mailed, or hand delivered to the Recruitment Section, as one packet and post marked by the deadline. All documentation is subject to approval. Any incomplete, inaccurate, untruthful, or misleading statement(s) in the PHS are cause for disqualification from the application process.
