There’s a new way to access timely, relevant and trustworthy information about the Fairfax County Health Department and the COVID-19 pandemic. Just follow @FairfaxHealth on Instagram.

The photo-friendly social media platform will aid in the department’s efforts to connect with younger audiences and encourage the adoption of healthy behaviors. Beyond COVID-19, this account will be used to share information on important health topics such as vaping and smoking cessation, substance abuse prevention and safe sexual practices.  
 
This new account joins the Fairfax County Health Department’s other social media platforms, which includes Facebook and Twitter. @FairfaxHealth also joins the larger Fairfax County family of social media accounts, which you can find on the county’s Social Media Hub.
