Public Comments Welcome on the County’s Draft FY 2025 One-Year Action Plan for Spending Federal Housing Funds

Public Comment

Fairfax County is seeking public and stakeholder comments on proposed priorities and activities contained in the FY 2025 One-Year Action Plan that identify the County’s housing and community development goals and guide the spending of federal funds to address critical community needs.

Community Engagement Period

February 7, 2024 until March 19, 2024

The One-Year Action Plan was developed with input from county leaders, residents, service providers, advocates, and other county and community partners. The plan outlines projects that are proposed to be undertaken between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025 to achieve the goals identified in the Five-year plan.

The One-Year Action Plan can be accessed online at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/housing/data/consolidated-plan. Physical copies of the plan will also be made available for review during regular business operating hours at the information desks at the Fairfax County Government Center (12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax), the Gerry Hyland Government Center (8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria), the Department of Housing and Community Development (3700 Pender Drive, Fairfax), each Fairfax County Public Library branch, and other public facilities where advertised on-site.
