Fairfax County’s Department of Housing and Community Development’s Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (HCD OPEH) is collecting community insights to inform its next Strategic Plan.
Everyone is invited to complete the newly launched online survey.
The survey collects community feedback on Fairfax County’s current homelessness response: what is working, what is not, and what needs to improve. Data will help guide the next steps in the strategic planning process. HCD OPEH seeks input from people with lived experience of homelessness, service providers, staff, community members, and partners.
No personally identifiable information is collected in this survey. All responses will remain confidential.
HCD OPEH began community engagement activities to inform its next Strategic Plan in December. Information obtained via these activities will inform recommended strategies that strengthen the community’s response to homelessness. The final report will be presented to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for their consideration in 2026.
