CALL TO ORDER:

Commission Chair Crawford called Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.
 

Approval of Agenda: It was moved by Commissioner Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Shumaker that the March 19, 2025, be amended, noting that the commissioners will only discussing commission business. The motion passed by unanimous vote.  

Approval of Minutes: To be discussed at the next meeting.

STAFF ISSUES: To be discussed at the next meeting.

COMMISSION BUSINESS: 
 

Appeal- HRC #2023020E/ EEOC# 10D- 2023-00013- –Dunn v. Booz Allen Hamilton: It was moved by Commissioner Shumaker and seconded by Commissioner Salinas, that the staff finding be upheld and this matter be dismissed due to no cause finding. The motion passed unanimously.

Successful Conciliation- HRC# 2024044H/ HUD# 03-25-5247-8- Jones, Jill v. Jeffrey Charles and Associates, Inc., et al - It was Moved by Commissioner Crawford and seconded by Commissioner Shumaker, that the conciliation agreement in this matter be accepted as presented. The motion passed unanimously.

Conciliation Approval- HRC# 2023083H/ HUD # 03-24-4300-8- Fairfax County Human Rights Commission v. UDR Texas Properties, LP, et al. - It was Moved by Commissioner Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Shumaker, that the conciliation agreement in this matter be accepted as presented. The motion passed unanimously.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS: There were no community concerns.
