Board Matter May 5, 2026
Background: Mr. Chairman, Woodland Park Crossing Retail, LLC (the “Applicant”) is currently processing applications identified as PCA 2003-HM-046-05 and FDPA 2003-HM-046-003. The Applicant proposes to add principal and secondary uses permitted within the established PDC zoning district to existing buildings at Woodland Park Crossing. No site or building modifications are proposed.
Woodland Park Crossing is a mixed-use development constructed in 2007 that includes ground-floor and second-story commercial uses, a grocery store, and both surface and structured parking. This proposal provides an opportunity to lease space to new tenants and better align the development with current Zoning Ordinance provisions. To facilitate timely occupancy of vacant space, the Applicant requests the scheduling of a Board of Supervisors public hearing, along with concurrent processing of the associated applications.
Motion: At the Applicant’s request, I move that the Board direct staff to schedule a public hearing before the Board of Supervisors on a date certain of June 23, 2026.
I further move that the Board direct the Department of Planning and Development to coordinate with the Director of Land Development Services to allow for concurrent and simultaneous processing of any site, building, and/or other plans associated with PCA 2003-HM-046-05 and FDPA 2003-HM-046-003.
This motion should not be construed as a favorable recommendation by the Board and does not relieve the Applicant of compliance with all applicable ordinances, regulations, or adopted standards.
