Whether art or filmmaking is your specialty, FCPL is hosting a summer-long contest tailored to your creative streak. Winners will receive prizes and, most importantly, bragging rights!

Teen Cover Art Contest

Show off your creepy creations in celebration of the Tails and Tales™ Summer Reading Adventure theme. Select a book with a monster or supernatural element and reimagine the cover to feature your original creature design. All designs should be PG-13 or milder and not feature excessive gore or inappropriate images. Submissions will be accepted June 11-Sept. 1, 2021. Winners will be announced during our TeenTober celebration in October.

Teen Film Festival

Create a short film that retells a fairytale of your choice with a modern twist. Films must be no longer than eight minutes, including credits. Submissions will be accepted June 11-Sept. 1. Entries will be shown at a screening event during TeenTober, and winners will be chosen by the public and announced October 31.
