Have you ever finished a book that was so good, it left you in a slump? You don’t want to even look at another book because it just won’t be as good as what you just read. All you want is to find something new, yet with all the things you loved from your last book. Well, NoveList is here to help!

NoveList Plus is an online database that provides custom book recommendations based on your interests and preferences. Accessible with your FCPL library card, the website has a variety of tools to help you find your next read based on criteria selected by you.

Using the Appeal Mixer tool, users can discover the perfect book for them using categories like pace, writing style and character-type. Or, if you have a favorite author, check out the Read-Alikes sidebar to see authors who write in a similar style. You can also browse the recommended reads lists to view book lists based on a wide variety of themes, including the “For Fans Of…” lists that suggest books inspired by your favorite fandom, TV show, musical artist and more.
