Have you ever been reading a book in the library and thought: “This would make a great movie!” Well, Hollywood agrees! Check out this list of YA books that have been adapted for the silver screen.

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Lena Duchannes is struggling to conceal her power and a curse that has haunted her family for  generations. Ethan Wate is haunted by dreams of a beautiful girl he has never met. When Lena moves into the town's oldest and most infamous plantation, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her and determined to uncover the connection between them. This book/movie is perfect for those who like supernatural tales.

This literary classic follows writer and Wall Street trader, Nick, as he finds himself drawn to his millionaire neighbor Jay Gatsby. While it has been made into a movie and miniseries many times, the 2013 version is both visually appealing and features many familiar faces. This book/movie is perfect for those who like dramatic romance stories and literary classics.

This movie follows an expedition to Iceland that goes awry as their only way to escape is to go deeper and deeper below the earth’s dangerous surface. One of many movie adaptations, the 2008 sci-fi film stays pretty close to the original story, a novel written all the way back in 1864. This book/movie is perfect for those who like discovering lost worlds.

The Maze Runner is about a boy named Thomas who wakes up at the center of a large labyrinth with no memory of his previous life. He quickly becomes an asset to the maze’s makeshift civilization. This book/movie is perfect for those who love sci-fi and mystery.

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
