The Department of Tax Administration (DTA)’s Non-Tax Delinquent Collection section monitors the billing and collection efforts of non-tax receivables over 180 days past due for the county. DTA outsources delinquent non-tax receivables to a third-party collection vendor, Nationwide Credit Corporation (NCC). DTA serves as the primary contact and liaison between the county and the collection vendor, NCC.

DTA collects for the following agencies:

• Office of the Children (SACC) – Child Care fees
• Community Services Board – Social Services
• Fire and Rescue Department – Fire Inspections
• Police Department – False Alarms
• Health Department – Clinic Fees
• Solid Waste Management – Disposal Fees
• Land Development Services – Elevator Inspections
• Housing and Community Development Department – Rent, Damages, Fraud
