We encourage you to pay as much as you can on or before November 5 to minimize any interest and penalties. However, we understand that many county residents experience financial challenges, including furloughs and job loss. If you are having difficulty making your tax payments, we can assist with payment plans that will help spread your tax obligation over time to avoid increased costs. Because every situation is unique, we take an individualized approach to payment options. The most important step is to contact the Department of Tax Administration and discuss your options.
