Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will hold a public information meeting on the extension of the sidewalk along the south side of Peace Valley Lane in Falls Church.  The meeting will be held on Monday, April 8 at 7 p.m. at Justice High School (cafeteria), located at 3301 Peace Valley Lane in Falls Church. The meeting will be an open house, with a brief presentation at 7:15 p.m. FCDOT staff will be on hand to answer questions about the project.

Background

The project extends the existing sidewalk along the south side of Peace Valley Lane, from the cul-de-sac at the southwest corner of Justice High School to the existing ramp and street crossing. The project was recommended as part of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Transportation Priorities Plan.  There has been public involvement and feedback from residents to complete the missing link.
