More than 50 people joined the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) to launch a study of Route 29 inside the Beltway to the City of Falls Church at a public workshop on Nov. 12. FCDOT presented current conditions and possible opportunities for the corridor, and collect feedback from attendees on providing and improving sidewalks, crosswalks, cycle paths and bus stop amenities. FCDOT is seeking additional community feedback through an online survey, now open through Dec. 19, 2025.
