Mason District Supervisor Penelope A. Gross and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will hold a community meeting for the Sleepy Hollow Road Walkway Project on Monday, April 22, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., in the Mason District Governmental Center, 6507 Columbia Pike, Annandale. The project will upgrade the pedestrian facilities adjacent to Sleepy Hollow Road between Bay Tree Lane and Castle Place.

Since the last community meeting in April 2018, FCDOT has changed plans for the project based on community feedback, including the width of walkways, removal of retaining walls, additional sidewalk and pedestrian crossings, and more. FCDOT also held small-group discussions with community members in March to give updates on the project.
