Transportation Alert:
This project will construct a 6-foot-wide sidewalk 850' in length along the west side of Bush Hill Drive from Ninian Avenue to Larno Drive. Additionally, curb and gutter with associated storm drainage and ADA compliant curb ramps will be installed.
This will provide a safe, walkable route to Bush Hill Elementary School and the overall community at large.

Requests for Public Hearing Due April 6, 2026
FCDOT asks the public to submit any requests for a public hearing regarding the Bush Hill Drive Project by April 6, 2026. Please see the attached notices, which have been published in The Washington Post and el tiempo latino.
Previous Public Meetings
FCDOT hosted a public information meeting on the Bush Hill Drive project on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m., in the Bush Hill Elementary School cafeteria. Comments were accepted through Dec. 6, 2024.
