"Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life." - Pablo Picasso
Project In-Sight features artwork and poetry created by individuals receiving services from the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board as well as staff. In its twelfth year, the exhibit combines both visual art and poetry to widen the door for self-expression in a non-juried exhibition. The exhibit strives to validate each person’s unique way of seeing the world.
David Edelman, Clinical Supervisor with the Youth & Family Team, says "Staff and clients alike are excited for this wonderful opportunity to share their art and poetry. Celebrating self-expression through Project In-Sight brings a greater sense of community to the Northwest Center.”
Friends of the Northwest Center Reston are encouraged to submit their entries through October 9 using the submission form. You can also get a printable Project In-Sight flier.
Artwork and poetry will be on display from October 16, 2019 through January 15, 2020.
All are welcome to join us for a Project In-Sight Open House on Wednesday, October 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Northwest Center office (1850 Cameron Glen Drive, Suite 600, Reston).
