Stay cool this summer at the Fairfax County Park Authority’s family water park: The Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole. With a design that captures the excitement of the Old West, all ages can find something to enjoy.

Purchasing season passes saves you more than 60% on daily admission prices, so the more you visit, the more you save. Season passholders also experience faster entry and can purchase guest passes at a discounted rate. Get these sale prices while they last: $111 for a single person, $177 for two people, $242 for three people and $76 for each additional person, with up to eight people on a pass (ages 2 and younger enter for free).

The Water Mine boasts more than an acre of slides reaching as tall as three stories, flumes, sprays, showers, floatables and an interactive water playground. Careen off covered wagons, float on wild animals and dash through showers tipped from water-filled carts. Enjoy the activity pool or relax in the Rattlesnake River — a 725-foot lazy river.
