Rec Center Open House

Rec Centers will open their doors to everyone on Wednesday, January 24! Anyone can stop by all day to explore Rec Centers for free. Visitors will receive a free, 7-day trial membership or be able to purchase a 30-day for $30 pass to the Park Authority's Rec Centers.

Each center will have special programming and activities from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on January 24. Try out sample fitness classes, use gym equipment, take a lap in the pool and enjoy fun events at each site. Check out each Rec Center page for specific programming information.

 

Open House

Attend the Audrey Moore Rec Center Open House: Wednesday, January 24. Enjoy free admission and learn more about membership during this winter wonderland-themed event (come join in the indoor snowball fight)! Join from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. for:

  • Spin the wheel for giveaways such as an Aqua Flex day pass and gift baskets

*Non-swimmers and children under the age of 3 must be accompanied by an adult age 16 or older. Children must be 48 in. or taller to use the water slides.


Looking for Gym Space? Get in the Game at Sully Community Center

Fairfax County Park Authority in partnership with Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services now offers rentals of Gym 1 (consisting of Court A and Court B) and reservations for Courts A and B at Sully Community Center.  

GYM RENTALS: Organizations and groups looking to host practices, tournaments and games can rent the entire Gym 1 for $100 per hour. Contact Natalie Sandelli at natalie.sandelli@fairfaxcounty.gov or 703-817-9407 for rentals. 

COURT RENTALS: Individuals can make reservations online for Court A or Court B. Select a date and time under Court A (Sully Community Center) or Court B (Sully Community Center) to reserve half of Gym 1 for one hour. The cost of making a reservation — $11 for adults or $7.50 for seniors/youth — includes the court for one hour and the first participant’s admission. Additional participants must purchase their general admission ticket online ($11 for adults and $7.50 for seniors/youth) for the corresponding day and time. 

Enjoy your next indoor game or activity — play pickleball, basketball, badminton, volleyball and much more — at Sully Community Center!  


Now Open: Drop-In Childcare Room

Patrons of Cub Run Rec Center now can use the services of a brand new Drop-In Childcare Room. This fun, safe environment for children ages 6 months to 10 years will keep children entertained while you use the Rec Center. It features an open playroom with a separate area for infants/toddlers who are not walking. In the room, children can play with toys and games, work on crafts, and enjoy reading or other age-appropriate activities. Staff watching children are First-Aid and CPR-certified and the services adhere to Virginia Department of Social Services child-to-staff ratio standards.

Gym 1 (Green) 
Gym 1 is used for Fairfax County Park Authority programs and rentals. Court space is available for rent by the hour. For rental information, visit FCPA's Registration Site. For further assistance, call Park Authority registration at 703-222-4664 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday).

Gym 2 (Blue)
Gym 2 is used by Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services for programs and open gym opportunities. For current schedule, visit Sully Gym 2 Schedule. For more info, contact Sully Community Center at 703-322-4475.
