Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold an online community meeting Tuesday, February 28 at 7 p.m. on proposed paving and restriping changes on Ellenwood Drive between Arlington Boulevard and Route 29 in Fairfax.
In addition to bike lanes, FCDOT is proposing crosswalks at the following intersections:
- Ellenwood Drive and Jersey Drive
- Ellenwood Drive and the Arlington Boulevard Service Road
To reduce the paving backlog and take advantage of recent warmer winter weather, the anticipated start date for this project will take place in March. Other meetings for VDOT’s Paving and Restriping Program begin in April. To learn more, click here.
