Channel 16 programming including Board of Supervisors meetings and award-winning shows such as "County Magazine" and "Your Community, You're Connected" are accessible to the hearing impaired community through Channel 16’s complete closed-captioning service.
Since 1992 when Channel 16 began using sign language interpreters at the Board of Supervisor meetings, Channel 16 has been a leader in government television in reaching out to the hearing impaired community. In 1996, technology allowed for closed-captioning of the board meetings. Now, Channel 16 expands its accessibility to the community by delivering all of its programming with closed captions.
The Channel 16 TV Schedule lists all programs showing this month.
For issues with closed captioning, please contact Patrick Balsamo, Production Manager, Communications Productions Division.
