This is a practice emergency scenario to test @FairfaxCounty's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Scenario: A Norfolk Southern freight train carrying ethanol has collided with a VRE passenger train at Backlick Road VRE station in Springfield, VA. Several freight cars are imagined to be on fire, prompting a multi-agency response. Goal: Assess coordination, communication, logistics, & decision-making during a complex incident.  #EmergencyPreparedness #FairfaxCounty
