Watch a Salute to Lords and Ladies Fairfax, a tradition that began in 1984 when Celebrate Fairfax asked each member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to select two individuals to represent his or her district and name them as that district’s Lord and Lady Fairfax. This year’s Lords and Ladies joined the 700 past honorees whose collective efforts are truly the fabric of our county. They are leaders and an inspiration to all of us and have spent much of their lives putting the greater interests of their neighbors and friends before their own. (CC)
