Young Highway Task Force

The Young Highway Task Force is a non-profit organization mentoring families along the Route One Corridor. Their mission is to improve the health and safety of at-risk children and youth through community outreach and programming, while supporting their developmental needs and encouraging youth empowerment. The founders grew up in the area and are familiar with the needs of children, teens, and families that live there. During Fairfax County’s Black History Month program, CEO's Ivory Foreman and Maurice Johnson were interviewed by Nikki Brown about how the organization was formed, and future plans.
