Fairfax Connector Alert:
With the opening of Metrorail’s Silver Line Extension on Nov. 15, 2022, Fairfax County commuters are going to have more options to get to work, school, Dulles International Airport, and entertainment options around the Washington metro area. While incorporating connections to the new Silver Line Stations, Fairfax Connector will offer new, convenient bus routes to help transit users get to their destinations as conveniently and timely as possible. The new routes are based on transit planning and analysis, extensive community outreach and feedback from riders to ensure commuters’ needs are being met. |

More direct connections with Reston now available at Fair Oaks Hospital. Route 615 provides all-day service with 30-minute frequency during weekday rush hour and 45-minute frequency during weekday non rush hour and weekends. Connection with Route 605 to Reston is now maintained by way of a transfer point at Fair Oaks Hospital. |
901 Herndon Metrorail Station – Centreville |
New connectivity and improved travel time | Route 901 provides connectivity between the Herndon, Centreville, and Chantilly areas. The route significantly reduces travel time between these areas, while providing access from residential areas to employment centers. The route operates all-day service with 30-minute frequency during weekday rush hour and 60-minute frequency during weekday non rush hour and weekends. |
