DFS Announcements - Cancellations and Closings

  • The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Tax Preparation program is temporarily suspending all activities.
  • All Fairfax County Virginia Career Works Centers are closed until further notice.

  • All Domestic and Sexual Violence Services’ (DSVS) individual and group therapy services (ADAPT and survivor services) are suspended until further notice. (Those currently in therapy will receive support via telephone from their existing therapist.) The DSVS 24-hour hotline is still available 703-360-7273. Learn more about DSVS.

  • If you are registered for (or interested in) an upcoming DFS activity (training, workshop, class, session, etc.), please revisit the activity's registration or information web page or directly contact the person, program or organization hosting the activity to learn if there is a reschedule, cancellation or closing.
