How to Help
Join the Partnership for a Healthier Fairfax.
Strategic Planning is how the Health Department tracks and analyzes local trends so we can implement policy and programs that meet the “real life” needs of our residents.
Our team of health analysts turn data and information into actionable insights the Health Department uses to address current health trends and plan for the future. These insights provide the backbone to community health initiatives such as Live Healthy Fairfax, the Community Health Improvement Plan, the Community Health Dashboard and more. Through Strategic Planning, we are constantly raising the bar on quality. This is exemplified by our accreditation from the Public Health Accreditation Board. The Fairfax County Health Department is one of only five health districts in Virginia to have this distinction.
