Free Vaccine Shuttle Pilot Ended

A pilot project between the Fairfax County Health Department and Fairfax Connector that provided shuttle service to the Mt. Vernon Square COVID-19 Vaccine Equity clinic has ended.

• Taxi Free Rides – For those who do not have access to their own transportation. Call the Call Center at 703-324-7404, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. You will need to provide your name, phone number, date and time of vaccine appointment, and appointment address as well as your home address. Eligibility will be confirmed before transportation is arranged.
• Lyft – Free rides (up to $15) each way, to and from vaccination appointments.
• Uber– Four free rides (up to $25 off each) are available in your Uber app through July 4.
• Herndon Village Network – For those 55 and older in Herndon. Must be a member (annual fee is $20). Call 703-375-9439.
