RE: The Residences at North Hill – Project Update
Dear Resident:
We are very happy to be able to inform you that the financing for the Residences at North Hill project has been finalized and construction is now ready to proceed on this long-awaited development. As you know, this project has been many years in the making and has included extensive community engagement in the process. We appreciate your participation in that process and we are committed to keeping you informed throughout the development process and providing you with key points of contacts for raising questions and concerns.
Construction on the site is expected to begin within the next three weeks. In the coming days and weeks, you will notice some tasks being done to prepare the site for construction – including:
- Setting the limits of the construction area as approved by the county
- Placing tree protection around tree conservation areas
- Installing erosion and sediment controls to manage the stormwater during construction.
Once these first site mobilization tasks are complete, earthwork, retaining wall construction and other site work will commence to ready the site for the buildings.
Construction, by its nature can be disruptive. It is our goal to be a safe, good neighbor and to take reasonable steps to minimize disruptions and be responsive to community concerns. In the attachment to this letter, you will find a general project timeline as well as several ways that we will work to address several concerns and questions which have already come to our attention. In addition, we would invite you to take advantage of the following ways you may receive direct information from the project team and share your questions and concerns:
