Notice of Public Hearing - Thursday, December 12, 2019 - Oakwood Development

Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will hold a public hearing on December 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. during its meeting in the FCRHA Board Room, located at One University Plaza (4500 University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia). The public hearing is on a proposed Comprehensive Agreement with the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing for the development of the FCRHA-owned Oakwood property to create senior affordable housing pursuant to the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002, as amended Va. Code Ann §§ 56-575.1-575.16 (PPEA).  The Oakwood property is identified as a part of Fairfax County Tax Map No. 081-2 ((1)), parcel 0017C and Tax Map No. 081-4 ((1)) Parcels 0032, 0033 and 0034 (the “Property”), in the Lee District.

In accordance with the requirements of the PPEA Guidelines of the County, adopted pursuant to Va. Code Ann. §§ 56-575.1-575.16, a copy of the Comprehensive Agreement is available for review in the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors in the Fairfax County Government Center, located at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.  In addition, a copy of the proposed Comprehensive Agreement has been posted on the website of the Fairfax County Department of Purchasing and Material Management and may be viewed at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/procurement/ppea.
