Background:
Following informal conversations in the community and with various Town of Vienna officials, the time has come for a more in-depth discussion between staff from Fairfax Water and Town of Vienna officials concerning the future of public water service delivery in the Town of Vienna and surrounding areas currently served by Vienna Water.
Motion:
Therefore, we move that relevant county and Fairfax Water staff be authorized to discuss issues related to the future of public water service in the Vienna area and return to the Board with an update on those discussions by summer of 2024.
