Fairfax County Supervisor Walter Alcorn to Host In-Person Budget Town Hall on March 16

Fairfax County Supervisor Walter Alcorn will host an in-person budget town hall meeting on Monday, March 16, to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Advertised Budget

The event will provide residents with an opportunity to offer feedback on the proposed spending, tax rates, and investments for the upcoming fiscal year.

Town Hall Details

  • WHEN: Monday, March 16, 2026, from 7-8: 30 p.m.
  • WHERE: Louise Archer Elementary School, 324 Nutley Street, NW, Vienna

Supervisor Alcorn will be joined by School Board Member Melanie Meren, along with staff from the Fairfax County Department of Management and Budget.

“Last month, the county executive presented his advertised budget which is just the first step in the budget process,” said Supervisor Alcorn. “During the coming weeks, I’ll be carefully listening and learning what residents think about his proposal — including my budget town hall for Hunter Mill — and that will help inform my budget conclusions and votes. I encourage Hunter Mill District residents to participate, and of course, they also may contact my office directly with their thoughts.”

The county executive’s proposed budget serves as the blueprint plan for county investments in public schools, parks, human services, public safety, infrastructure and more. The Board of Supervisors will hold public hearings on this proposal in April before adopting the budget in May.
