The County of Fairfax, Virginia, Department of Public Works and Environmental Services ﴾DPWES﴿ is soliciting statement of qualifications from consulting firms to provide services for General Civil Engineering and Ancillary Services on a basic ordering agreement basis. These services will be requested and authorized on a task order basis and the initial agreement will be established for one twelve (12) month period and may be renewable for three additional twelve (12) month periods (up to 48 months) at the County’s option.
Pursuant to Virginia State Code, Basic Ordering Agreements ﴾BOA﴿ will be established with an initial maximum of $4 million per year but will contain a provision to increase to the state allowed maximum of $10 million per year at the County’s discretion. The fee for any single project may not exceed 2.5 million. Task orders will be negotiated for individual projects as the need arises. DPWES anticipates awarding up to two (2) BOAs.
All statement of qualifications shall be delivered via email to Rosalind.knox@fairfaxcounty.gov no later than 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time on April 21, 2026. Statements of qualifications received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
