Fairfax Connector Route 599 supplemental express bus service to the Pentagon from the Vienna Metro Station and the Reston South Park and Ride ends this week as track work on Metrorail's Orange, Silver and Blue lines (August 11 - 26) comes to an end this weekend. The supplemental service was added to give Fairfax County commuters additional travel options during the Metrorail disruption.
In addition, in Reston, Fairfax Connector Route 599 will once again depart from it's regular location at the Reston North Park and Ride. The stop had been temporarily relocated to Reston Station Boulevard.
For express bus service to downtown D.C., as part of Fairfax Connector's regular service, Route 699 departs from the Fairfax County Government Center Park and Ride every weekday.
