The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will host two public meetings on the Gallows Road Multimodal Study, virtually on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m., and in-person Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. FCDOT staff will provide information on existing travel conditions along Gallows Road between Tysons and Annandale and seek feedback on ways to improve mobility and safety for all users.

The goals of the study include providing and enhancing bicycle, pedestrian and transit access and connectivity, while improving traffic flow along the Gallows Road corridor and in and around the Merrifield Suburban Center. The study also will identify opportunities to provide access to the Merrifield Suburban Center with bicycle and pedestrian connectivity across I-495.
