All are invited to join the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) for an Open House at their Northwest Center office (1850 Cameron Glen Drive, Suite 600, Reston) on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Open House will feature original artworks and poetry created by individuals receiving services from the CSB. This event marks the tenth anniversary of the art show, known as "Project In-Sight."
The National Institute of Mental Health describes art therapies as centered on the idea that people can help heal themselves though art, music, dance, writing and other forms of expression. Studies show that using creative art therapy can reduce symptoms of depression.
Join us as we recognize and celebrate recovery in our community. The art will be on display at the Northwest Center through the end of January 2018.
