Fairfax Connector Data for Developers
Fairfax Connector schedule and estimated arrival times data is available for developers in the following formats:
BusTracker API
- BusTracker API provides data on Fairfax Connector bus locations and estimated arrival times (ETA). This information is provided through Clever Devices "BusTime" application.
- To use this API, you must agree to the Developers License Agreement and apply for a key. You will need to sign-up for a Fairfax Connector BusTracker account to view the agreement and to apply for a key.
How to Get an API Key
- Create and activate your Fairfax Connector BusTracker account.
- When signed-in to your account, click on “My Account” in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- Follow the link to directions under "Developer API" to apply.
- Fairfax County will review your application. If your application is approved, we assign you a key, and you'll get an e-mail containing the key right away.
