HOAP: Heroes of Adult Protection – Film premiere followed by a conversation/Q&A with the filmmakers & social impact producer

This film, produced by The Clowder Group, is part of an educational docuseries showcasing the various abuses faced by elderly and dependent adults, along with the inspiring efforts to rescue them. This project shines a light on what Adult Protective Service (APS) workers encounter when abuse victims need a hero. HOAP is a national media project destined to change the landscape of APS. The stories feature APS employees, victim advocates, victim resiliency, and the army of people working together to protect victims who cannot protect themselves. A panel featuring local police, APS case workers and professionals from the Financial Exploitation Task Force will provide valuable insights into the collaborative efforts required to combat elder abuse and support victims.
