Land Development Services Alert:
Land Development Services (LDS) issued Technical Bulletin 22-06 “Localized Flooding Mitigation Policy for Residential Infill Development Detention Requirements” on Aug. 5, 2022. This new policy became effective Sept. 5, 2022. It offers a simplified detention method as a means of mitigating the flooding impact for residential infill development.
LDS is offering a 3-hour training session on this simplified infill detention method (SIDM) and tools available to support the design computations and engineering drawings. The virtual training is scheduled for Sept. 21, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
