Lincoln-Lewis-Vannoy Odor Control Facility Improvements

Project Number: WW-000001-043

Project Update: April 29, 2026

Project is in the 70% design phase.

Project Description

Proposed replacements to be performed at the existing facility include construction of a new: pavilion and concrete pad; and, odor control measures consisting of two (2) tanks, chemical feed piping and pumps, and underground containment conveyance.

Project Background

Fairfax County Engineering and Operations personnel have determined the existing odor control chemicals being used are not as efficient and effective in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the sanitary sewer system infrastructure along Braddock Road. The existing chemicals are causing precipitation within the piping, impeding flow, and increasing pressure within the system.
