Scope - Project purpose is the Old Courthouse Road at Besley Road Project is part of the spot improvement program in the Hunter Mill District of Fairfax County. The total project length is approximately 1000 linear feet along Courthouse Road and 300 linear feet along Besley Road. The proposed improvement will realign and raise Old Courthouse Road to improve and minimize roadway flooding. The project includes roadway reconstruction, new pedestrian/bicycle connections and replacing the substandard culvert with a new bridge structure, and stream restoration.
